Dewert Lift Chair Motor Actuator for Single Motor Chairs  Model # Megamat MBZ or MB1
What you should know about the part:
 
This was the most common Dewert actuator used a few years ago on standard lift chairs made by Pride and Mega Motion.  This actuator has one lead, a male two (2) prong flat blade/round blade connector that plugs into an extension cord coming from a transformer that sits behind the chair (MBZ) or to a transformer that mounts on the side of the actuator (MB1)   PLEASE NOTE: there are several different Megamat actuators that have been used on lift chairs, and this fits most of them that have only one motor in the chair.  If your chair has two motors, this one may or may not be the correct one.  Also, if your motor is not even trying to run, it is very doubtful that the motor is the problem, as these motors hardly ever go out when they are dead silent… Usually, the problem is in either the hand control or the transformer.  If any questions at all, please let us know before you place your order.
We realize that nearly all our competitors state that you must give them the serial # of the chair before they may be able to help.  In reality, we hardly ever need the serial # to get the most common parts for a chair.  If you read and follow the description above, and the pictures look like what you have, then you’ll be assured that the part will work for your chair.  We do this every day, all day long, and have gotten pretty good at determining what will work for the chair you have.
 
What you should know about us:
 
All of our parts are NEW, direct from the manufacturer.  We don’t sell used parts, old stock riding around in service trucks, factory rejects, or parts sold by companies with little green “leaves” passing themselves off as manufacturers, but selling cheap cloned parts made by third rate factories in Hungary, Vietnam, or Taiwan.
  
Our parent company is an authorized service and repair center for ALL the major brands of lift chairs, such as Pride, MegaMotion, Golden, Med Lift, Best, Catnapper, Home Meridian, and several others.  This gives us an advantage over the DME stores that deal with only one or two brands of chairs.  Lift chairs and beds ARE our business – we don’t sell scrubs, walkers, or oxygen, or do power chair repair, and then sell repair parts as a side item to make a little extra money; if we can’t help you solve your problem with your chair or bed, we are out of business!
 
Give us a chance to help before you have to get in touch with one of our competitors and ask for “their repair person” (who may or may not be there…); we ARE the technicians…  Because we have experience with all brands of lift chairs, we are the guys that our competitors technicians call to ask if something will work on the chair they are working on.  Because we have relationships with the manufacturers that actually make the parts for the lift chair companies, we even get calls and messages from the technical staff at the dealers listed above when they have a question about compatibility.
 
While we don’t claim to be “experts” on these, as some of our competitors claim, we have made enough mistakes in the last couple of decades to get pretty good at helping folks do their own repairs.  In most cases, there is no need to call a technician in to repair a lift chair or bed; most work can easily be completed in the home by almost anyone (please needless to say the last commentary was made by a service technician that made his living by doing service calls…).  If you have any questions or issues with anything on these eBay pages, please let us know and We will be able to do our best to unravel it; we are not happy unless you are happy!



We accept payment via PayPal and all major credit cards.  You may pay PayPal by Visa, Master Card, American Express, or Discover.  Payments should be received within FIVE (5) business days of purchase (most folks need these parts in a hurry; if you haven’t paid for it in 5 days, you probably didn’t really need it…)

For shipments to fellow Tennessee residents, we are required by law to collect 9.75% sales tax (we agree, they don’t deserve it, but I’m just a little guy…).

We know most folks need these parts quickly, so we ship any order out the same day if received by 10:00am CT; After that time, it will go out the next business dayEverything is shipped within 24 hours (Mon-Fri) of us receiving the order with payment. 

We primarily use the Post Office for shipping, but will occasionally use FedEx Ground for heavier items shipping to the West Coast and Northern states.  We will be able to upload the tracking information to eBay with the intention to track your shipment.  We ship to the address on record in PayPal unless other arrangements have been made. 

We will be able to ALWAYS do our best to make sure the items arrive safely and in a timely manner, but PLEASE don’t “ding us” for Post Office foul-ups… Unfortunately, we don’t have much control over the Post Office and the way they do things;  if we did, it would be ‘different’ – not necessarily better, but different… (If there was ever a bunch that need some competition, they are the ones…).  If you receive a damaged package, etc., please let us know.

We now ship worldwide; the item is sent to a logistic center in KY and shipped on from there to the rest of the world.  At checkout, you will pay for the item and eBay will add overseas shipping charges, duties, taxes, etc.  We are responsible to get the item to their distribution center, and eBay is responsible to get the item delivered to your country.
